Will you eat them here or there?

This is the best of the 10 attempts at a class picture. Several of our friends were very anti-face paint and hat this year. These kids definitely know what they do and do not like...
Micaiah joined us from the ones room.

Logan loves green eggs and ham. He even helped his friends who didn't want to try theirs.

Class Picture

We hadn't updated our class picture in awhile, and with the addition of our new friends we thought we should try to get one. Class pictures are always an adventure for us. This might be the closest thing we have gotten to a good one in quite a while.

Chillin'

Preschool isn't all about playing, crafts and snack time. Sometimes we have a few moments where the kids are just able to relax.

Valentine's Day Party

Has anyone else had one of those days where you *think* you have taken a ton of pictures and then when you go to put them on the computer you really only took 4 and 3 of them are blurry? Please say I am not the only one this has happened to.

Here is my only decent picture from Friday's party. Sorry! Guess I was too busy munching on cupcakes.

What a Beautiful Day

Today was so pretty we spent a long time on the playground. Unfortunately with all the rain there was a little bit of mud - I am sorry for the muddy knees! Our lesson this week and last week was "Winter". We have talked about snow and penguins and cold weather clothes (jackets, mittens, etc) during our group time inside, but the weather outside hasn't quite followed our lesson plan. Not that I am complaining - I will take warm weather over cold any day.

Another New Friend!

New friends are coming out of the woodwork lately! The number of boys is starting to catch up with our number of girls, which I am sure the boys are pretty happy about! Today's new friend is William. He and his sister Madeline (4's class) moved here from Montgomery recently. They are friends with John Spencer's (3s class) family and their mom works with Logan's mom.

Welcome to the Twos class William!

Donuts With Daddy

Donuts with Daddy is always so much fun (and not just because the donuts are so yummy)! We had such a great turn out with not only daddys but also mommys and grandpas. There were even donuts left over so the kids got to eat them again at snack time.

Twos Teachers....

My photo
*Miss Courtney has been working at Harvest Preschool with the twos class for 4 years (1 year as an assistant, 3 years as lead teacher). She is originally from Alexander City, AL and has a sister, Andee, (and brother-in-law, David), and brother, Brady. When she's not a school, you'll most likely find her reading a book, watching a movie, listening to music, or hanging out with friends. ********************************** *This is Mrs Patricia's third year as a Twos teacher: one year as a full time substitute/assistant and this past year as the co-lead teacher. She has been married to Jud for 10 years and has a 7 year old son William who attended Harvest in the Twos class the year Harvest opened and continued in the 3s and 4s classes. She was roped in as a substitute teacher during William's time in the 4s class has hasn't been allowed to escape since. :)
